Patience is a Virtue

Here we are in April and even though I do not actually have one in my hands, I am patiently waiting for the Olympus OM-D /E-M5 to arrive at McBain Camera. Being continually bombarded with the ever increasing number of images taken with this camera is not making that waiting any easier. However, all is not lost as I have the Fuji X10, a Panasonic GH-1 on loan and have just had the opportunity to shoot with the new Sigma 4/3rd 30mm f2.8 lens. This appears to be a great lens at a very exciting price so if you are in the Edmonton area on April 14th you should drop by the Spring show for a look.

The image here was shot with a Panasonic GH-1 and the Sigma 30mm f2.8. Settings were 1/40 @ f2.8 and ISO 1600. I think you will agree that this lens appears to be sharp...even wide open.
